New to HPE Africa’s extensive range of McCloskey crushing and screening equipment, are modular crushing solutions (MCS), which add significant value through rapid on-site setup, high productivity and extended service life, even in the most demanding conditions.
“McCloskey’s modular crushers, which meet stringent global quality and performance specifications, have been designed with a specific focus on requirements of the machine operator,” says Rasheel Sukdhoe, McCloskey product manager, HPE Africa – exclusive distributors locally, for McCloskey International. “Key benefits of these machines include a customisable design, simple and fast assembly – typically less than one week – ease of operation and low maintenance requirements.

The modular J45 static crusher, with a true 1 140 mm (45”) x 688 mm (27”) single toggle jaw, ensures efficient handling of materials in all applications, including arduous environments. Some features on the J45 static crusher include a 110kW electric motor, a large feed opening allowing for large feed rock, a heavy-duty feed chute and an ultrasonic level sensor.
Other key features of the J45 include a feeder width of 1 064 mm and length of 4 240 mm, with a grizzly section length of 1 325 mm. The conveyor, which offers a stockpile height of 4 065 mm, has a belt width of 1 050 mm, fitted with dust covers for additional protection. Various jaw die options are available which include, but not limited to, multi-tooth, square tooth or corrugated design. An over-band magnet comes standard with the J45, which is used to remove steel prior to material being fed to the secondary crusher.
McCloskey C300 static cone crushing units offer high productivity and energy efficiency in primary, secondary and tertiary crushing applications.
Features of C300 cone crushers encompass a conveyor which offers a stockpile height of 3 610mm, a belt width of 1 400mm, dust covers and a 7,5 kW electric drive motor. The chassis, which is skid-mounted, has a heavy-duty ‘I’ frame section.
The C300 cone crusher comprises various liner configurations, ranging from feed size of 90 mm to 210 mm, depending on the liner type fitted to the machine. This 25 ton unit is fitted with ultrasonic level sensors as a standard feature.
The McCloskey S190 electric static screener, with the largest screening area in its class, has been designed for screening fine materials in all applications. The high-energy screenbox has no tapers and wider chutes, allowing the free flow of materials and resisting loss of throw, plugging and blinding. Conveyors, fitted with high-quality steel rollers, have steep troughing angles which increase conveyor capacity and prevent spillage around the machine.
