The PanAmericana combines the comfort of the Multivan with the off-road capability of an SUV.

The Multivan PanAmericana is a special highlight in the T series, 33 different versions of which will be on show at the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles booth in Hall 12 as well as in the outdoor area.

The PanAmericana combines the comfort of the Multivan with the off-road capability of an SUV. No matter where you plan to go, the Multivan PanAmericana is supremely up to the task! With the help of its extra 20 mm of ground clearance (which can optionally be deselected) and 17″ alloy wheels (18″ as an option), the Multivan PanAmericana can even conquer tough terrain without any difficulty.

Featuring front and rear bumpers painted in a textured effect, designer underride protection at front and back, side sill attachments and stone guard liner along the lower sides of the vehicle, it is easily up to the requirements of off-road driving.

In addition to these functional highlights, the Multivan PanAmericana also has a striking and refined outfit: tinted rear windows, smoked LED rear lights, a Highline radiator grille and the classy PanAmericana logo on the B-pillars give it a competent appearance.

However, it is not only from the outside that the Multivan PanAmericana impresses: the optional chequer plate floor in the passenger compartment and rugged rubber floor mats can even cope with muddy mountain bikes or snow-covered snowboards. Ready for the next adventure!

The concept of a multi-functional yet stylish all-rounder that can also be used in rugged conditions is consistently carried through to conclusion here with multifunctional leather steering wheel, leather gear knob, Climatronic, entry lights with PanAmericana lettering and stainless-steel pedals.

The entire interior features a mix of high-quality, yet simultaneously hard-wearing materials: typical styling elements, such as seats with special inserts (black and white), Alcantara pads and edging U-seams in contrasting colour, as well as optional bi-colour leather trim, underline the exclusive character of this special edition Multivan.

In addition to the proven 4MOTION all-wheel drive, the new Multivan PanAmericana is also available as a purely front-wheel-drive vehicle, thus offering great variety and freedom for individual applications when deciding which version to buy. The new Multivan PanAmericana is available with petrol or diesel engines with front or all-wheel-drive and engines ranging from 84 kW / 114 PS.

The 84 kW TDI engine makes an attractive addition to the range of engines available for the T series, closing the gap between the 75 kW TDI and the 110 kW TDI, meaning that there are now five diesel engines and two petrol engines, delivering between 62 kW and 150 kW, for the highly successful T series.
