Park Village Auctions has announced that its next commercial vehicle auction will be held on Thursday the 2nd of July via webcast with limited access to only 50 physical attendees.
That’s the word from PVA’s Le Roy Augustyn who explains that the limit is in line with COVID-19 lockdown safety requirements and thus “registration is essential” for those that wish to attend the auction in person.
Augustyn:
“PVA’s truck and trailer auctions have historically been well-attended. Asset and fleet managers, dealers and other purchasers favour being ‘in the front row’ so to speak, so I anticipate registration will fill up fast.
“Our live webcast auctions have proven to be a hit among those who prefer self-isolation. We received positive feedback on the system’s performance after our passenger vehicle auctions.
“Fortunately, physical vehicle inspection is open to all under strict hygiene and social distancing measures.”
Viewing will be open to the public from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday the 1st of July
at the company’s truck yard, Gate 2 of the Nasrec Show Grounds, 1 Nasrec Road, Johannesburg. Entry will be staggered to ensure an appropriate number of people are on the grounds at any given time. Sanitisers are provided at the entrance and exit, and a strict “no mask; no entry and no touching the vehicle” policy applies.
The auction will commence at 10:30 on Tuesday the 2nd of July and will feature a bevvy of trucks, trailers, earthmoving and agricultural equipment stemming from genuine bank repossessions and liquidation matters.
Lots on offer include a selection of rigid trucks and truck tractors from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna, Volvo as well as various MAN TGA and TGS models.
Trailers and earth moving equipment on the block comprise flat deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat deck, side tippers, Tautliner trailers, skidsteer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders.
