Mava Landu takes on Revenue Generation for the Rest of Africa markets as Departmental Executive at ISUZU

Mava Landu has joined the ISUZU Motors South Africa (ISUZU) team as the Department Executive Revenue Generation for the Rest of Africa Markets.  Landu is not entirely new to the sector. He takes on the role with a wealth of experience spanning various industries and various African Territories.

Starting his career as a Team Leader in the Bodyshop with General Motors South Africa in 1996, Mava progressed to the tyres industry in West Africa, Ghana, where he held the role of Regional Sales Manager for West and Central Africa from 2018 to date.

Mava holds a National Diploma in Marketing, further complimented by additional short courses to hone and develop his academic qualifications.

Mava will operate under the leadership of Penny Mkhwanazi, Senior Vice President Revenue Generation ROFA and International markets. Mkhwanazi says, “Mava has hit the ground running, we have developed a great working strategy and his skills and knowledge of these markets are going to do our ROFA strategy due diligence – I look forward to the great ideas he comes with.”

Mava has held various leadership roles over the years, namely; Key Accounts Manager for Truck Tyres at Continental Tyres West Africa. He later joined General Motors South Africa as a Business Development Manager Sub Saharan Africa. He was also a Key Accounts Manager for Corporate and Government Sales at BMW South Africa (Pty)Ltd, amongst other roles he has occupied in his career.

Looking forward to the challenge, Mava says, “The role and the market I am responsible for is both exciting and challenging at the same time.  My primary objective will be to develop and grow identified markets aligned to the company’s strategy, not only from a sales perspective but also from the way we conduct business with our business partners and the dealer network moving into the future”.
