Nicolette Lambrechts, Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Vans Canada

PRETORIA – Mercedes-Benz South Africa announced today that its current Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa, Nicolette Lambrechts, will take over the role of Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Vans for Mercedes-Benz Canada, effective January 1, 2017. This position was previously held for more than four years by Pablo de la Peña, who has returned to a role in Mercedes-Benz España.

nicolette lambrechtsNicolette Lambrechts has been heading up the Vans business in South Africa since January 2014, also serving as a member of the Executive Committee of Mercedes-Benz South Africa in this role.

She joined the company in 2001 as a Graduate Traine and has held numerous roles such as Sales Planner for Chrysler Jeep, Distribution Manager for Commercial Vehicles as well as National Sales Manager and Brand Manager for Mercedes-Benz Vans in South Africa.

Under her leadership the Vans business in South Africa has maintained its position as market leader in the categories where it has share dominance and she has steered new product introductions with tremendous success with the help of the established Mercedes-Benz dealer network in the country.

The successor for Lambrechts’ position will be communicated in due course and the dedicated Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa team will continue with business as usual during the transition period to new leadership.
