Nissan collaborates with MIWA to offer Value Advantage Parts for out-of-warranty workhorses Company News Headlines Local Industry Nissan Nissan Parts by Tristan Wiggill - October 9, 2026 Nissan Value Advantage Parts offer an affordable option The campaign will promote and support a range of affordable service kits and related components, including filters, for older Nissan NP300 Hardbody and Nissan NP200 models. The kits are available from Nissan dealers nationwide and, through a collaboration with the Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), from its network of independent workshops. Juan Wheeler, Managing Director of Nissan South Africa, says: “Nissan remains fully committed to South Africa, and our new service campaign is further proof of this. We want to ensure that we support the owners of all our vehicles, including older vehicles that are beyond their mechanical warranty but still have many years of useful service left.” Nissan Value Advantage Parts offer an affordable option for owners who want to keep older Nissan vehicles properly maintained without compromising on quality. The parts are validated by Nissan, carry their own warranty and are supported by Nissan South Africa if they do not meet the required specifications. Kits and standalone parts cover the Nissan NP300 For the campaign, Nissan will focus on its range of major- and minor-service kits, as well as Nissan Value Advantage filters for the specified vehicles. The kits and standalone parts cover the Nissan NP300 range and the full NP200 line-up, including the 8-valve petrol workhorse, the more powerful 16-valve models and the frugal 1.5 dCi diesel models, which were especially popular with private buyers. Although production has ceased, the legacy of the Nissan NP300 Hardbody and NP200 continues to thrive across South Africa. Renowned for their durability, reliability and exceptional value, these iconic workhorses have supported businesses, entrepreneurs and families for generations. Their enduring popularity is reflected in the thousands of vehicles that remain in daily service today, cementing their status as some of the most trusted and recognisable vehicles on South African roads. From launch, Value Advantage Parts and service kits will be available over the counter at Nissan dealers across South Africa and through participating MIWA members. The collaboration extends the reach of Nissan’s parts offering, supports independent workshops serving the country’s established Nissan vehicle population and includes a dedicated support line for MIWA members. Wheeler says: “With more than 100 dealers in our network, the average South African is never more than 25 minutes from a Nissan dealer. Customers can always rely on Nissan and its dealer network to look after them. This applies not only to customers with Nissan vehicles covered by a service plan and mechanical warranty, but also to owners of older Nissan models that are beyond their factory warranty and remain in regular use.” Freddie Louw, Aftersales General Manager at Nissan South Africa, adds: “At Nissan, we recognise that the true measure of a vehicle’s success is not only how it performs when new, but also how well it continues to serve customers over time. Through our Value Advantage Parts programme and collaboration with MIWA, we are strengthening customer choice, improving accessibility and ensuring that owners of older Nissan vehicles can continue to maintain them with confidence and peace of mind.” For more information about Nissan Value Advantage Parts and Nissan’s dealer network, visit www.nissan.co.za .
