The award-winning FUSO Canter LIFT * arrived on our shores towards the end of last year. The range includes five variants, from 6- to 8,55-ton GCM. All models are powered by world-class, integrated Mitsubishi drive-trains.
Its fuel efficiency targets are achieved by combining the vehicle’s engine and transmission, and are further enhanced by its Eco-mode function. The vehicle’s dual clutch provides a soft shift that needs no maintenance and achieves the lowest shift shock in its class. The latest model offers newly developed drive-trains, which is a vast improvement on previous models.

FUSO’s 4P10 twin-camshaft, inter-cooled diesel engine with four valves per cylinder is coupled to an advanced DUONIC six-speed, dual-clutch automated manual transmission – the only dual-clutch transmission available in a commercial truck.

The FUSO Canter LIFT has a roomy, fully-trimmed cab that provides ample space for the driver plus two passengers to ride in comfort. The shift lever is mounted on the dash, with a simple, well-defined operating mode.
This allows the driver and passengers to easily exit the vehicle on the curb side, generally regarded to be the safer option. Being part of the Daimler AG stable – and its top seller – also means that the FUSO Canter LIFT benefits from revised and more competitive service and maintenance rates.

Daimler AG claims the LIFT is the smoothest-running, easiest-to-drive FUSO Canter ever offered, and presents a significant increase in the length of the service intervals, up to 25 000km in some applications. A two-year unlimited kilometer bumper to bumper warranty also contributes significantly to lowering the cost of ownership.
